King Charles snubs Prince Harry in Christmas speech

King Charles failed to mention Prince Harry or Prince Andrew in his Christmas message.

Most senior members of the royal family featured in his annual speech – but the Duke of York and the Duke of Sussex were missing. It comes as relations between the Duke, King Charles III, and Prince William have been increasingly strained since the fallout from bombshells in his book Spare and his Netflix documentary.

The King’s Christmas Broadcast was filmed in the Centre Room at Buckingham Palace, with the iconic palace balcony in the background.

It has been five years since a monarch’s Christmas message was filmed at Buckingham Palace.

In the speech, Charles alluded to the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza – quoting Jesus as he called for “peace on Earth”.

The King said: “At a time of increasingly tragic conflict around the world, I pray that we can also do all in our power to protect each other.

“The words of Jesus seem more than ever relevant: ‘do to others as you would have them do to you.’

“Such values are universal, drawing together our Abrahamic family of religions, and other belief systems, across the Commonwealth and wider world.

“They remind us to imagine ourselves in the shoes of our neighbours, and to seek their good as we would our own.”

Charles also praised the “selfless army” of volunteers helping others “at a time of real hardship” in the speech.

He said: “Over this past year my heart has been warmed by countless examples of the imaginative ways in which people are caring for one another.

“Going the extra mile to help those around them simply because they know it is the right thing to do – at work and at home; within and across communities.

“My wife and I were delighted when hundreds of representatives of that selfless army of people – volunteers who serve their communities in so many ways and with such distinction – were able to join us in Westminster Abbey for the Coronation earlier this year.

“They are an essential backbone of our society. Their presence meant so much to us both and emphasised the meaning of Coronation itself.

“Above all, a call to us all to serve one another; to love and care for all.Charles also spoke about the environment and his Christian faith in the speech, which was broadcast at 3pm on the big day.

He gave the address in front of a living Christmas tree, a royal first.

n a nod to the environmentalist monarch, it was decorated with sustainable products such as dried oranges, hand-turned wood, brown glass and pine cones. It will be replanted after the broadcast from Buckingham Palace’s Centre Room, which overlooks the Victoria Memorial.

Meghan Markle angers locals with her new stunt in Montecito?

Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle has reportedly angered locals in Montecito as she allegedly broke a rule at a farmers market during her latest outing.

The Duchess of Sussex, who lives in the town with her husband Harry and their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, visited the market alongside a security team and brought along one of her pet beagles.

At the Montecito market, there is a sign that reads: "NO DOGS ALLOWED with the exception of recognised service animals... we thank you for your understanding and cooperation."

Meghan, who picked up some flowers and sampling honey during her trip to the market, seemingly broke the rule as she was caught on camera with one of her pet dogs.

The Former Suits star' move has reportedly angered some of the locals who always abide by the rules, while few reportedly reacted as saying: "This rule may no longer be in place."

On the market's Yelp page, a question reads: "Is it dog friendly?" A response to the question says: "No dogs allowed, except service animals. There are signs at every entrance."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who relocated to California after quitting the royal jobs in 2020, recently suffered a blow after being axed by Spotify and snubbed in the nominations for the Primetime Emmys.

Awkward moment Meghan Markle is interrupted on the red carpet after announcing comeback

The Duchess of Sussex appeared to handle an awkward moment with total grace during the week after she was interrupted on the red carpet amid announcing her entertainment comeback

Meghan Markle suffered an incredibly awkward moment on her "mom's night out" during the week, with the actress-turned-Duchess recovering quickly and proving she is effortlessly gracious.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, was seemingly interrupted on the red carpet after announcing a major comeback when she  attended the Variety magazine's  power of Women gala in Los Angelese on Thursday. The awkward moment, which was rather odd, saw Meghan handle it all in her stride and with complete grace.

While posing up a storm on the red carpet for the paparazzi and photographers that stood before her, Meghan was interrupted by an assistant who walked over to her mid-pose. But ever the professional, Meghan gently brushed the assistant aside before she continued to pose for the photographers and beam for the cameras.

It is thought that the assistant was trying to move Meghan along after she posed for the cameras, with Meghan keen to continue posing.

Meghan looked sensational at the gala, with the Montecito-based Duchess donning a beige-hued gown. She wore her hair tied up and off of her face, with a minimal yet incredibly chic makeup look accentuating her natural beauty.

While at the event, Meghan teased some exciting projects that she and her husband Harry have in the pipeline amid their £80million ($100million) Netflix deal.

"We have so many exciting things on the slate," she gushed to a reporter. "I can't wait until we can announce them, but I'm just really proud of what we're creating," she revealed before heading inside for the gala.

Meghan then seemingly hinted at how she's happy to be back in the public eye when she said: "I think the more we support each other it just amplifies the work, amplifies our community and I’m just thrilled to be back in it and to be able to sit in this room and be in such good company tonight."

Meghan also hinted at how her doting husband Harry is feeling about their partnership with Netflix when she said: "My husband is loving it too which is really fun.

It’s Over for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as Experts Say Interest Is Gone; ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’

There's been a pendulum swing since the Sussexes left the royal family. Now, some commentators say there's no interest in them or anymore attacks on the royals.

For years members of the royal family have had to deal with reports against them from people who claimed to be in the know. But after  Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their roles as working royals  in 2020, they became a source revealing the inner workings of the family and fired a barrage of allegations against the prince’s relatives

As two people who worked in the Firm and were really in the know, there was an appetite for what the Sussexes had to say about Britain’s most famous family. That appetite waned though for many royal watchers who thought the duke and duchess went too far and seemed intent on trying to destroy the monarchy while playing the victims over and over. However, the allegations haven’t stopped and now the family is dealing with more of them, not directly from Meghan and Harry though. This time it’s from Endgame author Omid Scobie, who has been labeled by some as the couple’s “mouthpiece.” But even with fresh accusations, several commentators think any interest in what went on between the Sussexes and the family is pretty much gone now, especially in the Montecito neighborhood where the pair resides.

During an appearance on  GB News royal commentator and To Di for Daily podcaster Kinsey Schofield, who is based in Los Angeles, discussed the fallout from Endgame on her side of the pond.

“What is the fallout to the release of this new book about the Sussexes Endgame by Omid Scobie? How’s it going down in America?” host Mark Dolan asked.

“Well, you know, Americans do eat up the soap opera element of all things royal,” Schofield replied. “That’s why Princess Diana was a queen here in the States, because of that soap opera element, the gossipy element that she attracted. So the headlines are here. However, in Montecito, it seems like Harry and Meghan’s star has fallen quite a bit. Montecito bookstores are refusing — I shouldn’t say refusing, there’s just no interest in Endgame!”

Schofield also noted that it’s been reported the Sussexes’ Montecito neighbors are “uninterested and appalled by the way that Harry and Megan are not respecting their elders and it seems like they’re being very cruel towards their family members. So a lot of the neighborhood saying that they are uninterested in the Sussexes and don’t respect them or appreciate the way that they’ve treated their family.”

Dolan then added: “What goes around comes around.”

Meghan Markle's Friend Discussing Paparazzi Harassment Goes Viral

Meghan Markel’s relationship with Prince Harry led to Michael Del Zotto being targeted by paparazzi who believed they were in a relationship, the hockey star has revealed.

Del Zotto says he first met Meghan because "Suits was one of my favorite shows" and he was friends with actor Rick Hoffman, who starred alongside the duchess in the series as Louis Litt.

At the time the royal was married to her first husband Trevor Engelson and living in Toronto, where Suits was filmed. I remember I got [Hoffman] a signed hat by all the boys and he was extremely thankful for it," Del Zotto told the Spittin Chiclets podcast. "And through these times Meghan was around with him, you know, co-stars on the show and she was married at the time.

Del Zotto said he was at practice in Vancouver and was leaving when he was approached: "I'm walking out. Sure enough this guy sprints over at me, in his accent, goes 'did you have relations with Megan Markle?'

"I'm like, 'who the hell is this guy? What's this guy asking me?' And sure enough in the background, there's probably I don't know like four cars in the background and there's numerous cameras taking pictures and video of me, the paparazzi's back there, asking what the hell is going on right now?

"I sprint to my car, a bunch of the boys come out. They call me after like, 'what is going on?' I'm like 'I don't know apparently I dated or was married to Megan Markle, so that's a rude awakening for me.'

"You got to be careful with who you're friends with and what pictures you post out there because nothing ever happened but the paparazzi somehow found me."

Meghan’s marriage to ‘lonely Harry’ will last ‘years not decades’, expert predicts

Meghan’s marriage to ‘lonely Harry’ will last ‘years not decades’, expert predicts

His usefulness to her diminishes daily.’ He added bluntly

“I’m told on good authority that he’s quite lonely. He’s quite isolated in California,” Dampier said.

“Maybe that’s part of Meghan’s plan to isolate him from his friends as well as his family.

“I just don’t feel that he’s got a group of mates to go out and have a few beers with and unwind and relax, and talk about matey men things that we all like to do down the pub.”

Carter also doubted reports suggesting Meghan might return to an acting career - unless appearing in a reality TV show counted.

“If there is a Real Housewives of Montecito show in the works, she’d be a shoo-in,” he quipped.

Carter’s bold prediction comes just days after long-time royal correspondent Phil Dampier told GB News that  Prince Harry was feeling “lonely” and isolated in the US. Whilst Carter believes Meghan would not be interested in a return to film or TV acting, other royal watchers have a different opinion.

Reports recently emerged in the US media that  Megan wants to join the cast  of Kevin Costner’s ambitious four-film project, Horizon: An American Saga, which is only halfway through filming.

Megan and Harry recently visited Costner’s lavish California estate for a charity event raising money for first responders, but an insider told Radar on line that the former Suits star may have had other subjects of conversation in mind.

“Meghan is using the unbelievable new success of her long-cancelled series Suits, which is undergoing a revival on streaming, to convince Kevin she’s the key to his future success — and he’s listening,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Meghan was “pulling out all the stops” to convince Costner that she’s the right for the lead female role, as she believes “it will cement her Hollywood comeback in spectacular fashion”. It’s the kind of part that could cement her status as a serious actress,” the source added.

“Meghan desperately wants a role in Horizon, because it’s scheduled to shoot another two parts after this production wraps.”

The return to acting chatter ramped after a series of disappointing ventures since Meghan and Harry moved from the UK to the US.

Meghan’s Archetypes podcast failed to gain much traction, while a Netflix documentary about Harry and Meghan’s exit from the bosom of the royal family seemed to attract more critics than supporters.

The Radar source said Costner had not ruled out the idea of casting Meghan in his project.

“He wants this to be his biggest success ever and has all his chips in on it,” they said.

“He knows how much attention she’ll draw and is banking on her bringing more eyeballs to the project, just as she did with Suits.”

Meghan was a 24-carat celebrity when she was a member of the British Royals, writes RICHARD EDEN. Now she looks more like the 'wannabe starlet' she was before

Meghan Markle now looks more like a Hollywood 'wannabe' than a member of the Royal Family, says Richard Eden.

Writing in the latest edition of his Palace Confidential newsletter, Eden suggests that, in moving away from Britain, the Duchess of Sussex has turned her back on a life of genuine celebrity. And that success no longer lies within her own hands.

But here was Meghan, who would have joined Catherine at the opulent state banquet at Buckingham Palace, instead walking down the carpet at the Power Of Women event.’

‘While the  Princess of Wales stole the show in a striking scarlet cape coat as she greeted South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol at the start of his state visit to Britain, Meghan was courting the cameras on a red carpet in Los Angelese,’ he writes.

Unaccompanied by Prince Harry, writes Eden, Meghan ‘couldn’t have looked less regal… just another celebrity waiting to be interviewed by a reporter for Variety magazine.
‘She posed for photographers like the wannabe starlet she once was, before being rushed along impatiently by another guest.
‘Her interview emphasised that success is no longer in her own hands.
‘She talked about the unnamed “exciting” new projects that her television company, Archewell Productions, “can’t wait to announce.  Source Daily mail

It’s been a while since the Duchess of Sussex walked a red carpet, but the royal ended her hiatus at Variety’s Power of Women gala in Los Angeles on Thursday night in memorable fashion, bringing her signature refined minimalism along with her. Known for her sartorial skill when it comes to understated ensembles, neutral palettes and polished yet unassuming style choices, Meghan Markle perfected it once again, and better than ever before, on the gala crimson carpet with a stunning gown from New York-based designer  Proenza Scholder.

A contemporary-chic brand known for its abstract approach to minimalism, it’s a slightly more modern choice for a royal, but the gown in question couldn’t suit the elegant young Duchess and her penchant for stylish simplicity more.

The beige off-the-shoulder, floor-length number was elevated by a well-placed seam detail and slits up the front and sides, making it easily one of the royal’s most subtly striking looks to date.

She paired the gown with her beloved Aquazzura heels, a black leather clutch and minimal gold accessories by affordable jewellery brand Mejuri. Both the Charlotte bold ring and chunky huggie hoops are priced below $150, making it that much easier for you to replicate the royal’s look.

Markle finished the ensemble with a slicked back, centre-parted bun and a neutral make-up base, perfectly encapsulating the undecorated classiness of this modish, natural look.

To say the royal has mastered elegant minimalist is an  understatement, and this latest red carpet appearance only confirms that her style is maturing into an even more sophisticated iteration of itself—one that works impeccably well for this Duchess.

Meghan Markle told King Charles there are TWO 'royal racists' who spoke about her son Archie's skin colour - and Harry asked his father: 'Don't you want to see your grandchildren any more?', according to explosive new book by Omid Scobie

Meghan Markle accused two people in the Royal Household of airing 'concerns' about her son Archie's skin colour, according to a bombshell new book set for release next week.

Omid Scobie's new volume Endgame claims the Duchess of Sussex wrote to King Charles III to outline her concerns in what threatens to reignite the 'royal racist' row that broke out in the wake of the Sussexes' interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

According to The Sun, the book will also feature claims that Harry made a cutting remark to his father as they rowed over Frogmore Cottage, allegedly asking the King: 'Don't you want to see yFrench magazine Paris Match has also claimed the upcoming tome reveals a message was circulated in the Royal Family telling them not to trust Harry after his memoir Spare was released.

The journal claims that a source close to the King even allegedly said 'Charles was cautious' after Prince Harry called his father to pass on his best wishes three weeks after the book was published.

Scobie has lobbed a series of truth bombs at the Royal Family in the run-up to the release of Endgame next Tuesday, including the claim Meghan Markle does not want to return to England because she refuses 'to dive back into the soap opera'.

But the latest serialisations of the volume ahead of its release detail some of the most explosive allegations yet - including the potential reignition of the 'royal racist' row that came about after Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

Meghan had claimed in the TV special thatan unnamed member of the Royal Family spoke about 'how dark his (Archie's) skin might be when he's born'.

The Sun reports, however, that a second member of the extended Royal Household - who may not be a member of the Royal Family itself - also made similar comments.

The two people are not named in Scobie's new book, which is subtitled Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival.

Scobie reportedly claims to know who they are, but cannot name them for fear of legal reprisals in the UK.

He has also urged people to read the book for themselves when it releases on Tuesday in order to learn the 'full and accurate story'.

He wrote on X, formerly Twitter: 'Whether you like my work or loathe it, all I ask is that if you are reading coverage about what’s supposedly inside #ENDGAME, please also read the book itself.'

Further extracts from Endgame also suggest Harry made a cutting remark to King Charles III about his grandchildren as they argued over Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

They were handed an eviction notice days after Harry's memoir Spare was published in January this year; extracts from Endgame claim the prince tried to use grandchildren Archie and Lilibet as leverage.

Harry is said to have asked his father: 'Don't you want to see your grandchildren?' as they argued over the future of the Royal residence.

However, the book also suggests Harry could be ready for reconciliation with his family, with the prince reported to have said: 'I'm ready to forget. Get an apology or explanation? At this point, who cares, right?'

But the Sussexes' cheerleader also launches several new attacks on senior royals including King Charles, who he claims ignored a meeting request from his son while he was in London earlier this year.

And in a dig against the Princess of Wales, Mr Scobie quotes a close friend of the Sussexes as saying she 'spent more time talking about Meghan... than with Meghan'.

Endgame, which is out on Tuesday, threatens to reopen old wounds in the aftermath of Megxit. It will brand Charles 'unpopular', William 'power hungry' and say Harry was 'betrayed by his own family'.

On Friday, Buckingham Palace told MailOnline it was 'not commenting' on the latest extracts published by Paris Match, nor claims Mr Scobie made in an accompanying interview with the publication. MailOnline has contacted Archewell for comment.

In extracts of Endgame shared with Paris Match, Mr Scobie also claims...

  • Meghan decided against attending King Charles' coronation because she did not want to 'dive back into the soap opera of the court';
  • Despite this, she and Harry still keep him 'up to date' by 'sending him photos of their children';
  • Harry told his father 'don't you want to see your grandchildren anymore?' after Charles evicted him from Frogmore Cottage;
  • Charles told members of the Royal Family not to trust Harry following the publication of Spare.

The latest extracts from Endgame paint a dire picture of relations between Prince Harry and his family.

'He wanted to limit their discussion to a harmless exchange. Concerning Harry, the message that circulated in the family was not to trust him...everyone took it very seriously,' the source alleged.our grandchildren anymore?'

King Charles will never strip Harry and Meghan of their royal titles despite calls to do so as he would not want to 'humiliate' the Sussexes, sources say

King Charles will never strip Harry and Meghan of their royal titles despite the continuing heartache they are causing to the Royal Family.

Well-placed sources have said it is something he refuses to even contemplate.

There have been repeated calls since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex acrimoniously quit as working royals for firstly the late Queen Elizabeth - and now King Charles - to formally sever ties with the couple by taking away the honorary titles they were given on marriage.

They are not even believed to have visited Sussex since the early days of their marriage in 2018.

But one insider who knows the king well says he is 'not a punitive man' and would 'never want to humiliate' his son and daughter-in-law.

There have been repeated calls since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex acrimoniously quit as working royals for firstly the late Queen Elizabeth - and now King Charles - to formally sever ties with the couple by taking away the honorary titles they were given on marriage

Although Buckingham Palace is 'considering all options' as a result of the latest furore, sources insist that downgrading them as Duke and Duchess of Sussex is simply not on the table.

'That is just something that would not be considered,' they stressed.

The late Queen previously stripped her grandson and his wife of their HRH titles, insisting they could not use them in their new commercial working lives.

If Meghan were to lose her duchess title, as the wife of a son of the monarch she would be entitled to call herself Princess Henry.
